A Week for Cowboy Poets
By, Donna M. Monnig
Poetry is a great way
to exercise one’s writing,
And April Fool’s day
begins a month exciting.
NaPoWriMo is the name
that we all search for,
It gives us a national claim,
but wait, there’s something more.
For those that like the past,
who, the west still seek,
There’s seven days at last
for Cowboy Poetry Week!
So, if you like the west,
or the cowboy way of life,
Put it to the test
and see what you can write!

Today’s NaPoWriMo challenge was to write an advertising poem – I decided to advertise Cowboy Poetry Week which will take place April 20-26. Happy Writing to you!
